These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the services, booking system, and participation in outdoor woodland laser tag activities offered by The Outdoor Ed School ("we", "our", "us").

By making a booking, participating in a game, or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking and Payment
1.1 All bookings must be made in advance through our website or by phone, and payment must be completed at the time of booking.
1.2 Prices for laser tag activities are as listed on our website and may be subject to change.
1.3 A booking is not confirmed until payment has been received, and a booking confirmation email has been sent.
1.4 A minimum number of 6 participants is required for a laser tag session to take place, as specified on our booking platform and website.
1.5 We advise to book for the minimum number of expected participants. Your total number of participants cannot be reduced after booking but additional participants can be added at a later date if spaces are available.
1.6 If you are booking for 15 or more participants you can secure your desired laser tag session time and date with 50% deposit. For bookings with less than 15 participants full payment is required.
2. Eligibility to Play
2.1 Participants must be at least 8 years old to take part in the laser tag game.
2.2 Participants under the age of 18 must have an adult guardian on site at all times.
2.3 All participants must be in good health and physically capable of engaging in outdoor activities. If you have any health concerns, please consult your doctor before participating.
3. Consent
3.1 By participating in the game, you consent to the use of your image and likeness for promotional and marketing purposes

3.2 Participants acknowledge that laser tag is a physically active and competitive activity and accept the inherent risks involved.
4. Safety Rules
4.1 Players must always follow the instructions of our staff and game referees.
4.2 Activity equipment, including headbands and laser guns, must be worn at all times during the game.
4.3 Participants must not engage in any behaviour that may put themselves or others at risk of injury, including rough play, running in dangerous areas, or damaging the equipment.
4.4 Smoking, drinking alcohol, or using drugs is strictly prohibited on our premises.
4.5 We reserve the right to remove any player who violates safety rules or engages in disruptive behaviour.
5. Equipment and Property
5.1 All laser tag equipment provided by The Outdoor Ed School’s remains our property.
5.2 Players are responsible for the equipment issued to them during the game. Any damage or loss of equipment due to misuse may result in a charge for repair or replacement.
5.3 Players must return all equipment at the end of their game session. Failure to do so will incur an additional charge.
6. Weather Conditions, Cancellations, and Rescheduling.
6.1 Outdoor laser tag is subject to weather conditions. In the event of extreme weather (e.g., strong winds, snow, ice, storms), we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule games.
6.2 If a game is cancelled due to weather, participants will be offered a refund or the option to reschedule.
6.3 Cancellations:
Cancellation before 30 days of activity day - Full refund
Cancellation 29 - 15 days before activity day - 50% refund
Cancellation 14 - 1 day before activity - no refund
6.4 No refunds will be issued for "no-shows" or cancellations on the day of the event.
6.5 Bookings can be rescheduled to an alternative date up to 14 days before your activity session. Bookings within 14 days cannot be altered.
7. Conduct and Behaviour
7.1 All participants must adhere to our participation agreement, which includes respect for other players, staff, and the environment. This can be found on our website.
7.2 Any inappropriate behaviour, including verbal abuse, physical violence, or vandalism, will result in immediate removal from the game without a refund.
7.3 We reserve the right to refuse entry or participation to anyone who is deemed unfit to play due to intoxication or inappropriate behaviour.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
8.1 We collect personal information from participants (e.g., name, contact details, and payment information) to process bookings and provide services.
8.2 We will not share your personal data with third parties unless required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., payment processing).

9. Limitations of Liability
10.1 The Outdoor Ed School is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property unless directly caused by our negligence.
10.2 We do not accept responsibility for any delays, cancellations, or losses resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, accidents, or third-party actions.
11. Changes to Terms
11.1 We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the revised terms will apply to all future bookings and game participation.
